Rant

Are Islamic countries going to start respecting women if Hillary becomes President? Can we change a perception? Oh well that would be a key to a door if we can do that in Iraq, wouldn’t it. Certainly, not only will other countries start doing so, but it will be setting a Precedent all over the world that have not had woman involved in politics. Well let’s infer back to the Democratic Debates our focus has reasons one because we can’t handle another one those republics who believes corruption is best for the U.S. by supporting the war. 2. Because Democrat’s want to end the war which 61% of the country agrees upon according to cnn.com and this percentage continues to escalate. This is mainly because a voice which has been heard before in the political spectrum is once again raising and known to the public, as Hillary Clinton she is once again, in the view of the public as the first woman candidate to preside as a candidate of presidency. She believes “I am the modern progressive”

Well, I got to say something about that because the Progressive Era was the past and so many changes have taken place in the United States because it is silently falling another decadence because of the ongoing effects of the war and new issues brought upon by public concern. People are now able to voice their opinion, but much progress has yet to be made and the Democrats seem to have a firm hold in the 2008 election because of the poor display of positive change in the country by Republicans.

During Bush’s presidency so far we have seen figures like Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove, Tony Snow, Sandra Day O’ Connor all important subjects in the white house resign their position. This is no coincidence! The country urges for a new candidate that can hold power and keep its own body from crumbling to ensure that the foundation and infustrusture will not do the same. It leads down to the question we all look forward in “If a woman can bolster the future of America?” If Hillary is what it takes then, Hillary will be!

Her strong prevalent arguments have helped her achieve her supremacy. Her views on other countries have brought her to be known for her vague conception because she is uncontrollable. They can’t even control her at the debates! Who can blame her; she has a lot to talk about. If you think Hillary hasn’t got game look again, 46% of her supporters are woman according to The New York Times. But on a more serious note she states; “I can be taken seriously without a doubt. “ She also states that she has already established high level meetings with Muslim and Arabic counties which make her even more qualified. On the other hand, why is she sending Bill around to juristic relationships with other countries? Her visions are still not crystal clear to some, even the democratic candidates because of her shift on views. We really have to pick out what she is offering, for war she believes in bringing a brigade home every month safely and orderly.

Can she do it? Well it’s a woman power to the max, many questions erupted by the people directed to Hillary during the Democratic you-tube debates. She simply ended her campaign clip stating, “Sometimes the best man is a woman.” These words continue to reverberate, striking a new definition to the people of the United States. Yes she can, just because she is a woman this should not be a set back but more of a push for even more change in a country that needs to undergo and rear even stronger in the elite and globally competitive marketing world.

Expert's say:

Experts have conducted extensive research to investigate the variations between mean and woman and how they conduct their work. Alice Eagley, a lead author of the study and professor of psychology at Northwestern University co-investigator of the study include Mary C. Johannesen Schmidt and Melrose L. Van Eugene Tilburg University, the Netherlands concluded to this statement. “Specifically, women were more likely to be transformation leaders, defined as those who serve as role models, mentors, and empower workers performance and effectiveness in today’s world.” This just goes to show you that this study not only conducted by a women but men as well can wrap up that women have an aggressive trait to generate cogency in any position they employ in.

Linda Feldman, a reporter for Dateline reported:

“ Still 82% percent acceptance means tat not long ago, 18 percent of the public wasn’t willing to vote for a women, which points up an immense barrier that women still face- probably owing in large part to plan old sexism. That persistent reluctance will make it that much harder for the women to raise the money and gain the party backing they would need to make a credible run for the Oval office.” Although this report was established before Bush’s presidency it perceives the point that the American public had and how we are in a deadlock. Women are having this hard time as described by Linda Feldman.

Once again Linda Feldman reported another subjective article called “Time for Madame President?” can issued which concentrated on the same position.

“What’s America’s future woman presidents need first, though, is to build their resumes. That means winning important stepping stone-offices. In Congress, both houses have record number of women – nine out of 100 senators and 55 out of 435 House members – but those numbers remain low. Governorship lately has been even better training ground for presidents, but only three out of 50 governors are women.” Once again Feldman shows her position, that there is an insufficient amount woman in government which also supports my position in this controversial conflict.

Other countries sucess

Internationally we may be the only country to have equality within our people but, other countries have accepted this idea too. It has not been that long and yet other countries have already had successful women leaders running their country. Why should we be lagging behind? “And women have had the top job in other major democracies: British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Israeli Prime Golda Meir among them. On Monday, a month-long political deadlock was broken in Germany with a deal that will make consecutive leader Angela Merkel the first female chancellor there.” (Excerpt from Women in power in the other countries). This lucidly shows that women in other countries have already taken the step to show womanhood in their government. Government and the people globally are able to accept woman in the position to oversee their country. It comes to me very phenomenal that the Untied States still hasn’t been able to except this fact. It is not only the people but, woman in this country still carry this belief that they may not be able to withhold a position in the government because women themselves can not see them fulfill this position. It’s not only other countries success that makes us respond extensively but, the response from citizens of the country that contributes to the fact about women. A woman’s aggressiveness is not able to match with anything and the country needs this right now as because it is slowly degrading into the hands of war.

America insinuates Slow Progression

Sexist attitudes and stereotypes contribute the degrading view upon women in any profoundly leading positions. Women are sought to still be contributing to the idealistic view also known as the “stay at home mom.” Now people look the other way because of the ample amount of women entering the workforce of the United States. Women entering new fields that may have declined them less than a century ago are now available and woman are withholding new positions to their highest capabilities. In recent studies there is a significant increase in the woman of the Untied States and other countries but it is a benefactor to the government and cooperate worlds. The slowest inclination of progressing woman is those who take a stance, is in government. Women have been deliberating into government slowly but men on the other hand, have also had this to their advantage. As the views of woman are changing the society is erupting to the fact of women in government elite positions, such as President. Especially the upcoming controversial 2008 elections bring forth a spectrum we have never seen before as the Untied States but other countries have already advanced in. Women holding an important position in government such as Presidency have been exceptionally debatable because of the candidates in the 2008 Presidential election. Since blacks and woman are in the same positions who will win the title? Will it be the stereotypical President who, is a white male in his mid-ages? Is America ready for a change from the typical stereotype?

Constitute a view (my position)

I strongly confirm my belief for my position because in up most honesty I believe that America needs to regard woman in higher standards and even the possibly for Presidency. Not only the women in government, but women in other positions such as in companies. The major conflict that is established is that people are not ready to accept women to hold higher positions like CEO than men. I think that women should have a potential to do better then men because according to statistics and studies women in fact work harder and they ensure that the quality of their work is acceptable. In this defense, other countries have in fact, women, in the work force and they are able to be more efficient as well as productive. Countries such as India, England and Africa have more women in their government even as position as President. The public comes to be divided among this coming election because of the several candidates running. Not only do the people need to open their eyes to such an idea but women need to stop being held back and pursue their goals, now so that even little girls in the future can grow up to dream that they can be President this life long dream can be a success with one more person moving ahead.

My intention of my research is to bring to attention that women rights’ have been established for a reason and women need to come to an up rise and rise upon this to take a stance. Hillary Clinton currently has been a hot topic because she is trying to fill a substantial role and follow the footsteps of her husband and the men that held Presidency prior in history. Her footsteps are making their way in and it will become a concrete path when she or another woman in fact wins the elections.

For my argument is will be hard to persuade my audience that women are not efficiently represented with equality also showing the country’s downfall as to why woman have not taken this role earlier. To my understanding, people need to understand that we need to be more acknowledged for the work we contribute to society.

(Con) The uprising of women

The government has been taken over, by a full dictatorship of men and it has been like this since the establishment of the United States. Men have always taken part in government and although society is becoming broad minded, Why should this change? Woman have not been entitled in a part in government because they would not be able to handle such pressures and the public jeering, about the specific decisions made in office. Women seem to be more focused on the way they are perceived and too much of their concentration and funds are devoted to issues such as health care, abortion, stem cell research and global warming. Instead women have been shown in many studies to care more about the what is better for the world because of their domestic virtues, such as being caring and pretentiously worldly. With such qualities they fall behind, making it to the seat which irks the country to the new and contemporary idea of women in an ex-officio position in government. Once again, Condoleezza Rice has attempted to make her way in the government but people themselves are not ready to envision a women in a premier political hierarchy.

Advancing women

Women in this world are withstanding the idealistic role society has upon them. Can women be a leading figure? Better yet, can they be as effective to become President? This is the current topic that is causing controversy and has even got the White House rumbling? Is America ready to demolish the trend of white upper-class men that has been ruling for over 200 years? There are many women out there encouraging others to support this idea for the upcoming 2008 election. Hilary Clinton has been heading her way through the country recently giving her opinion on what she envisions for the country along with her husband and former President Bill Clinton. The recent political debates concluded that all her opinions are not based upon her husbands but the perspective and the ego of a passionate woman who envisions changes in the United States. As a woman, she is becoming the stepping stones to others weather she wins the election or not, thus paving the way for other women to enter the battlefield of politics.
